Windows Installer
The recommended option for most users. The installer places the CAT4OM Service and desktop client on the computer and prepares the standard installed configuration.
CAT4OM has just completed the first internal certification stage. We’ll soon open to beta testing.
Portable Package
Use the portable package when you want CAT4OM and its configuration to remain together in one folder. Extract the archive to a writable location and run the applications from there.

Keep the Service and Client from the same release together. Before upgrading, preserve any station configuration or customised handbooks you want to retain.
Alpha and Beta program
Authorized users may download CAT4OM Alpha and Beta versions on their respective pages.
Before you begin
- Confirm that your radio model is included in the handbooks supplied with the selected release.
- Check the radio’s CAT, CI-V or network-control settings before creating the CAT4OM connection.
- Do not allow multiple unrelated programs to open the same physical serial port directly.
- For remote operation, protect the CAT4OM network endpoints with appropriate authentication, firewall rules and a secure remote-access solution.
